Actor Sherman Hemsley dies at the age of 74
Actor Sherman Hemsley, who first became a TV icon on The Jeffersons (spun off from his character on All in the Family) and went on to appear in dozens of TV shows such as Amen, 227, Dinosaurs, Family Matters and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, died today at his home at the age of 74.
Right now, it looks like the death was natural causes.
